My Comuna is a platform that connects neighbors in apartment buildings and residential communities. It's designed to help you discover what's happening in your building, connect with neighbors, share resources, and build a stronger sense of community.

Do I have an option to post anonymously?

Yes, you can make anonymous posts in the app. However, we require you to follow the community guidelines and be respectful towards other residents.

Can someone link my anonymous post to my public profile on My Comuna?

Only the developers of My Comuna and its associated partners have the ability to link an anonymous post to your profile on My Comuna. Other users of the app cannot know the profiles behind anonymous posts. We process your data in accordance to our privacy policy

How do I join My Comuna?

Simply download the My Comuna app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Is My Comuna free to use?

Yes! My Comuna is completely free. Our goal is to strengthen communities by making it easy for neighbors to connect and communicate.

Privacy & Safety

How do you verify that I live in my building?

We currently do not support verification of your address.

How do you handle inappropriate behavior?

We take community safety seriously. You can report inappropriate content or behavior directly in the app. Our team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action, including removing content or users when necessary. You also have the option to block users if you like

What can I do on My Comuna?

You can:

How do I post something to my building?

Open the app, tap the "+" button, create a post, and tap "Post." Your post will be visible to all residents in your building and the buildings around you.

Can I message neighbors directly?

Not yet!

Building Management

Can my building manager or landlord use My Comuna?

Absolutely! Building managers and landlords can join to share important announcements, maintenance updates, and building policies.

Troubleshooting

I can't verify my address. What should I do?

Make sure you're entering your exact address as it appears on official documents. If you're still having trouble, contact our support team at admin@mycomuna.com

The app isn't working properly. How can I get help?

Try these steps first:

  • Close and restart the app
  • Check that you have the latest version
  • Restart your phone
  • Check your internet connection

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. We'll send you a link to reset your password. Check your spam folder if you don't see the email within a few minutes.

Community Guidelines

What are the rules for posting?

Please keep posts relevant to your building community. Be respectful, honest, and considerate of your neighbors. No spam, harassment, or illegal activities. Commercial posts should be limited and relevant to residents.

Can I promote my business on My Comuna?

Light promotion of relevant services to neighbors is okay (like babysitting, dog walking, or tutoring), but excessive commercial posting is not allowed. Focus on being a good neighbor first.
